First established in 1992, The Gender and Sexuality Campus Center (GSCC) at the University of Wisconsin serves as an important resource and welcoming environment for all students on campus. Our peer-managed mentoring and support group services assist students struggling with their sexual orientation or gender identity, while peer-managed educational services, visiting speakers and a variety of programs and events each semester help to educate the larger campus community on current LGBT issues.

Your support will help continue the tradition of excellence in teaching, research, and public service.
Make a GiftThe 2011 addition of a third academic staff member, and move to newly-constructed space in the Red Gym have elevated campus-wide visibility of the Center and offered an opportunity for greater service to the university community. Staff advise the growing number of LGBT and Ally student organizations, create leadership development opportunities, and work with faculty and staff across campus and the UW System on issues of campus policy, retention and general enhancement of academic and campus life experiences of this under-represented identity group.
You can benefit students who utilize the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center program by making a gift to fund scholarships, special events, speakers or operations. Annual gifts of any amount are sought and welcomed. In addition, scholarships may be named in honor of you or a loved one. Named endowment gifts are encouraged to help ensure the long-term viability of the Gender and Sexuality Campus Center. Gifts at this level provide support for a gift in perpetuity and allow generations of students to realize their educational goals.
