First established in 1959, under the name of the Office of the Foreign Advisor, International Student Services (ISS) offers a wide array of services to international students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. ISS staff provides information and programs to international students about the campus and community and provides support and assistance concerning visas and related immigration issues. ISS informs the campus and the larger community about the unique needs of and unique contributions made by international students bringing the international student perspective to a wide variety of campus programs and services.

Make a Gift

You can support students who utilize the International Student Services office by making a gift to fund scholarships, programs, activities, speakers or operations. Annual gifts of any amount are encouraged. In addition, scholarships may be named in honor of you or a loved one. Named endowment gifts are encouraged to help ensure the long-term viability of International Student Services. Gifts at this level provide support for a gift in perpetuity and allow generations of students to realize their educational goals.
