There are many ways for parents and family members to get involved and enhance the Badger experience for all — both on campus and elsewhere. You can also make a gift in support of a range of essential student needs on campus. As a Badger family member, you’re part of our community whether you’ve attended UW–Madison or not.   The UW Advocacy Coalition is a group of dedicated UW–Madison alumni and friends who support government policies that positively impact the university.

• How can I get involved?

  It’s up to you! Whether you choose to sign petitions, meet directly with your legislators at one of our annual UW–Madison Day events, or simply stay informed on issues facing the university through our Informed Insider newsletter, we encourage all members of the UW Advocacy Coalition to participate at their own comfort level.

  SuccessWorks is a career services center within the College of Letters & Science that helps students prepare to hit the ground running after graduation.

  You can directly support students by participating in career panels, networking events, online discussions, and other programs. You can also mentor students one-on-one.

• What is Badgers in Finance?

  Badgers in Finance is an exclusive professional network for University of Wisconsin–Madison alumni who work in financial services. It’s a place for grads to build relationships and strengthen the Badger presence in top-notch financial-services firms to raise the profile and reputation of the UW and bolster recruiting efforts for future graduates.

• How can I get involved?

  If you work in the finance industry, you can attend events in New York City and Chicago, hire students through the Sophomore Finance Internship Program, host students on a career trek visit to your office, or chat with students during informal drop-in sessions at the Wisconsin School of Business career studio.
