The Pharmacy Practice Research Fund supports promising research within the School’s Pharmacy Practice Division to advance the practice of pharmacy. One investigator, for example, discovered that patients with obstructive sleep apnea do not have impaired responses to influenza vaccines. In another study, people older than 60 who had not been diagnosed with cognitive dysfunction said their intention to be tested would be influenced by the convenience of being screened at a pharmacy, as well as family influence and the possibility of planning treatment.
