Class Scholarships at the School of Pharmacy

A tradition of excellence continues at UW-Madison School of Pharmacy through generous alumni who support the next generation of pharmacists with class scholarships. Each class scholarship honors a particular class with an annual or biennial scholarship award to a student. These endowed funds will offer scholarships in perpetuity thanks to the support of many class members who make annual gifts or reunion gifts to the funds.

Your gift to your class fund is greatly appreciated. Every gift helps build the endowment and increase the size of the award over time. Donors to the class scholarships will receive an annual or biennial email with information about the scholarship recipient after the scholarship is awarded. Existing class scholarship funds are organized by decade below.

Establish a New Class Scholarship

New class scholarships are initiated when a class has enough interested donors to endow a fund. Often a lead donor or group of donors will come forth to the School of Pharmacy to begin the process of working with Julie Jensen, Director of Development for the School of Pharmacy, to open the fund. The current minimum for a new endowed fund is $25,000. The School of Pharmacy’s Advancement Office may also communicate with your classmates to share information about the fund after establishment, including notification about the annual or biennial awarding to class members.
