I wanted to come to UW-Madison because it is a great Big Ten University, and the tuition was affordable, especially with the generous contributions of scholarship donors.
My favorite thing to do on campus is running on the Lakeshore Path…it’s beautiful in any season!
My greatest learning experience was definitely studying abroad my sophomore year in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I cannot begin to describe the experience in words, but I grew socially, culturally and academically every single day.
My parents are my inspiration because they have been so supportive of me throughout my life. They give me sound advice, but they never push me in a certain direction just because it is the socially accepted path or the way they did something themselves.
I am currently working as a psychology research assistant and as an assistant for the television show “Office Hours” on the Big Ten Network.

Now that I’m a senior, I’m leaning toward a career in international affairs or something in media.
This scholarship has given me the ability to focus on school without having a job every semester. It also made studying abroad financially feasible, and for that I am so grateful!
