I chose UW-Madison because the opportunities you find here are incredible. It is an amazing school both in its academics and extracurriculars.
My favorite place on campus is the 13th floor in the Educational Sciences building. It is the perfect place to study, since it’s quiet. Not a lot of people know about it, and it overlooks all of Madison—the view is incredible.
The Biocore program is the greatest learning opportunity I’ve had here. It is a four semester honors Biology program. It’s intensive; however, the benefits are worthwhile.
I’m inspired by my peers. Everyone at Madison is extremely goal-oriented. It’s hard not to motivate yourself when you see everyone else around you doing it.
I work in the cardiovascular research lab on campus, am a Biocore Outreach Ambassador and do science night for middle and elementary schools. I’m in the Polish Student Association and work on the Polish Film Festival. I’m also an Ironman volunteer.
I plan to go to Graduate School in a science related field. Hopefully, I’ll work on my individual research someday.
This scholarship has allowed me to pursue everything I would like to pursue, which is incredible. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the help I’ve received from the Lapinski scholarship. I am extremely grateful for all of your help. Thank you so much.
