The Bascom Hill Society Scholarship is awarded annually to one student based upon their potential to make a distinct and valuable impact on the UW–Madison community. Recipients are evaluated on their application for admission, financial need, academic achievements, demonstrated leadership capability, and aspirations to serve their community.
Funding for this scholarship comes from the Bascom Hill Society Scholarship Fund at the UW Foundation. The scholarship recipient is expected to have a presence, in person or through video, at the Bascom Hill Society Fall Event; the recipient’s name and credentials may be used in UW Foundation and university materials.
