As the Memorial Union Reinvestment project nears its slated completion in fall 2017, Wisconsin Union director Mark Guthier will be on hand to offer updates on the progress being made during this final phase. Originally founded in 1907, the Wisconsin Union is one of the first college unions in the nation, second only to Harvard’s union. Take this opportunity to learn about how the facility is being modernized while the university also ensures its historic preservation. During lunch, you can enjoy watching the progress being made on Memorial Union from your vantage point in Alumni Lounge, and you can take advantage of this convenient location and the summer weather to stroll over to the Union and its iconic Terrace afterward. A limited number of parking permits will be available for $12 each.
