In the aftermath of the November elections, John Coleman, a frequent commentator and author or editor of six books about the political process, recaps and analyzes the results.
Coleman earned his doctorate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and joined the UW-Madison faculty in 1992. His research and writing, including articles in leading research journals, explore political parties, elections, legislative-executive relations, divided government, campaign finance and American political development. Past president of the Political Organizations and Parties research section of the American Political Science Association, he also has received the Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award at UW-Madison.
