Annual funds may be used to enhance any of the school’s programs, including: student support, teacher education, faculty support, and outreach. With state funds declining and tuition costs rising, private gifts are taking on an ever increasing importance.
The UW-Madison School of Education is consistently ranked one of the top schools of education nationwide. In April 2010, U.S. News & World Report rated the School’s graduate program ninth among more than 200 schools of education nationwide, third among public universities. The School also had ten individual programs ranked in the top ten, including two Art Department programs.
