Membership and Benefits
The 1848 Society recognizes your generous decision to include the University of Wisconsin-Madison in your annual philanthropic planning. By joining this society at a level that is comfortable for you, you send a message to students, faculty, staff and other potential donors that you believe in the UW–Madison’s potential to benefit the world and deliver exceptional educational experiences. In appreciation of your trust and investment, the university pledges to use these dollars to maximize the effectiveness of its academic units. As a token of the university’s appreciation, all 1848 Society members will receive an annual membership in the Wisconsin Alumni Association.
