Investing Expendable Funds

The expendable portfolio is a short-term pool that includes gifts intended to be spent or moved to endowment accounts, usually within three years. Each dollar invested into the fund has a $1 cost basis in the fund.

The targeted yield for the expendable portfolio is based on one month LIBOR.

The portfolio primarily includes fixed income and cash holdings.
