Types of Gifts

Pianos, cattle embryos, rare books, pet food. The Foundation accepts many kinds of gifts for the University, values them and makes them and/or investment income available to the University.

From cash and real estate to life insurance, retirement plans and personal property, gifts arrive in many forms.

Many of them are immediately available, yet a significant number of donors use their estate plans to make gifts for the future.

Gifts are most often deposited in either endowment funds or expendable funds. A gift of at least $10,000 is needed to set up an endowment fund.
