Our series will conclude with a presentation on gender issues in medicine by one of the University’s most prominent advocates of women’s health and women in medicine, Dr. Molly Carnes. Carnes holds the Jean Manchester Biddick Professorship in Women’s Health Research, was nominated as a Local Legend by Rep. Tammy Baldwin, and is founder and director of the Center for Women’s Health Research in the School of Medicine and Public Health. She is an extremely sought after speaker who talks all over the world on this topic. You won’t want to miss her presentation.
The series will be held at the UW Arboretum auditorium starting at 5:30 p.m. with a light buffet dinner followed by the presentation and a lively question and answer session. The evening concludes at 7:15.
