Application and Award Process

Each student is asked to complete an application, which includes two essay questions describing his or her volunteer leadership activities and how these activities have made a difference in his or her life and the lives of others. Activities of the current semester will be considered in the selection process.

Two letters of recommendation are required. One must be from a University faculty or staff member or a community leader who has firsthand knowledge of the student’s volunteer activities.

Scholarship applications are to be submitted no later than April 23, 2012 to:
